Lipton’s history

Lipton is a village in southern Saskatchewan, set in the Rural Municipality of Lipton No. 217. It lies about 17 kilometres north of Fort Qu'Appelle on Highway 22.

Settlers began arriving in the early 1880s, and the community grew steadily enough that Lipton was incorporated as a village on May 15, 1905.
